Poet Peter Coleman Morning Words
The living letters dance with You, Lord Jesus.
Your life is in them as You, the Living Word, spoke all creation into existence.
Your life flows through all things, creator, sustainer.
The words speak of eternal life, heavens without end.
Joy and peace reign in Your kingdom.
We submit gladly to Your rule, effortlessly released from the bonds of the earthly life.
We are free because Your life was sacrificed for us,
And we keep the feast continually in Your presence,
As You renew and restore us to Your glorious image.
Love reigns in us, radiating out to bless and ignite the world with Your holy redemptive fire.
We are released, the veil is torn, the darkness is gone.
The light of Your glory floods us with Your living water.
Breathe on us continually, Living Word.
We are defined by You in Your perfect grace, peace, joy, and love.
